"I have now hired Humphries Construction twice to carry out both groundwork and building work. This occasion was to remove an existing structure and replace with a single-storey flat-roof extension. Jason provided a well documented, comprehensive and competitive schedule of work. Stage payments were outlined clearly and paid on completion of stages rather than upfront. Jason and his apprentice Jack are highly trustworthy, courteous and reliable — they turn up on time and do what they say. All work was carried out to the architect's design and to the approval of building control with no issues. Completed on time with less than 4% deviation on costs, all highlighted along the way. "Having purchased my bungalow and submitted planning and building regs, I submitted details for our 55 sqm extension on MyBuilder. I decided to start work on the foundations and drainage with Jason. What a decision — Jason and his team were on site at 7.30am every morning and worked at least 9.5 hrs a day. "Jason and Humphries Construction did a really good job upgrading my front drive. They arrived as planned with plenty of notice. Every detail was taken into account — boards to cover surrounding grass, re-usable gravel kept separate from spoil, heavy-duty new membrane laid on a firm base, crushed limestone compacted, then new gravel. A concrete retainer was installed across the entrance leading to an apron of black and red pavers as a decorative entrance. Very happy with the end result. Highly recommended."
